Cape York

With sadness we departed Mantis Reef and set sail for an overnighter

 to Cape York.  A few hours into the voyage we had two identical fish 

on the lines.  Let one go as we did not have  freezer space.

The next day around noon we rounded Cape York 

in 23 knot winds and entered the Torres Strait

Had a nice anchorage off a beach in the lee of the Cape

And hiked out to the northern most point on the continent

At least that is what the sign said. 

 I think I actually found the most northern point

Had a brief stop at Thursday Island for some supplies 

Then off on a 6-7 day sail to Darwin
