Spent Christmas with about 30 other sailors at a
beach buffet set up just for us in Phuket
with live music!
Then went back to the marina so Illimite' could get her Christmas
present of new Bimini with sun shades!
Spent New Years Eve at Nai Harn beach with some friends
All the little dots of light in the photo are little paper "hot air ballon" sent off from the beach. Some were not that little and with a lot of fire hanging below them to make them rise
Sometimes the paper would catch on fire and the whole thing would drop into the bay
Much to us boaters dismay, no one got hit that I know of
Lots of fireworks at midnight
The new year will start off well as my daughters will be here in 3 days
and Noelle will be back in 2 weeks as she went home to family!
