The monkeys were sad when we left Sandakan
Mark got another drone shot of us in front of the Coast Guard dock in
Sandakan before we raised anchor Illimite' is top left
Had some nice scenery going up the river and a few villages with smiling children
at our first nights anchorage about 15 miles up river we took a dingy trip
into a connected oxbow lake with a lot of floating water hyacinth. Its pretty
but after reading it is a problematic invasive species from the Amazon
a few monkeys on this journey but high and far away
and Noelle kept a sharp eye for crocs
