Several of us went in on a small fast boat tour further up the river than
we can take the sailboats. We had a good wildlife day.
Started off with a monitor lizard
then baby crocodile
proboscis monkey
long tail macaque
pig tail macaque
and as if it couldn't get any better
a BORNEO PIGMY ELEPHANT !
we only got to see this solitary old one that had separated itself
from the herd to go off and die. But that's better than no pigmy elephant at all
