Wayag

After leaving Tobelo we had a windless day of motoring so I practiced
my splicing skills and attached some nylon line I purchased to the end
of  my anchor chain to give me a little more rode

We finally made it to Wayag, an island in the Raja Ampat archipelago
which is a marine refuge that is famous for having the most marine
biodiversity in the whole world and supposedly the best scuba
diving, we shall see.
Below is a video of us arriving

We found a nice anchorage

and after a snorkel
(these darn clown fish are just so photogenic I can't help myself)

we took a straight up hike to a view point

and had a nice view

and panorama
