Drove to the tip of the Otago peninsula which is one of two places the
Royal Albatross nests at the site of an old gun battery
The albatross tends to fly away when you try to gather their eggs
How was I to know that you are not supposed to gather albatross eggs!
or what this old military jail was still here for!
We made a break for it and are catching a ferry to Stewart Island in the
distance just south of New Zealand
Found us a little car and a little bungalow to hide out in and plan our next adventure
Hunting the elusive Kiwi bird for lunch. But I guess they only
come out at night so hopefully better luck later
