After leaving Anambas Islands we had a two day sail to Kuching. Mostly motoring as there was little wind except when thunderstorms were surrounding us. At night had to use the radar to track the storms to try to avoid them. We have heard of 4 boats getting hit by lightening in the last few weeks.
Had a nice escort into Kuching by some small spotted dolphin
After arrival we went out to dinner with some friends of ours from SV FIELD TRIP and Michael discovered the largest insect I think I have ever seen.
The next day we visited a wildlife sanctuary where they are rescuing Orangatangs. They feed them some bananas on a platform daily and let people watch them come and eat. This is the alpha male
