While in Brunei Noelle developed a dental issue. Saw a dentist in Brunei
but he recommended she see an Endodontist in Singapore. So we left Brunei
a little early to so we could leave Illimite' in a marina in Kota Kinabalu and
fly to Singapore. On the way was the island of Labuan which has duty free
stores so we stopped for a few hours to load up on a few necessities!
Then off to KK to the marina and flight to Singapore the same day. We had to suffer in a hotel with soft beds, unlimited shower water, wifi and air conditioning. There was a shopping mall across
the street with a book store where we could express our differences
Then after a 2 1/2 hour consultation with plain films and a CT scan with 3D reconstruction
it was settled to try a redo root canal. During 3 1/2 hours of redoing 3 roots on the tooth
and the discovery of a 4th root Noelle decided it was a good time for a selfie
Thankfully all went well and we flew back to Illimite' the next day. At the duty
free shop in the Singapore airport did find a nice bottle of scotch in case anyone is
thinking of a present for birthday or Christmas?
