On our last day up the Kinabatangan River we went for a walk behind the
restaurant where we were having lunch and got to watch a mother orangutan and her
child pass by in the trees, pretty awesome!

After having a great time up the Kinabatangan River,
(which I would highly recommend to someone looking for a vacation at one of their resorts)
we rode the current down to near the mouth of the river where we had a quiet anchorage
Our friends on Mai Tai took this great shot for us!
We then set off toward Lahad Datu, our next place to resupply
Our ESSCOM escort still with us keeping everyone safe
On the way I had to spend over two hours replacing an electric motor
on the water maker, fortunately it wasn't rough and we had another quiet anchorage
in a narrow straight with a nice drone shot of the fleet by Mark on Field Trip
Below is another drone shot. In the center is a fishing wharf we took the dinghy to
and then walked through the fish market (trying not to slip and fall on the slimy floor)
to the produce market at the right of the picture. Had some great produce
even though Noelle almost got run over by the biggest rat I've ever seen!
While in Lahad Datu they had a gala dinner for us
( I guess they were surprised we all survived this long)
Where Noelle joined in the after dinner dancing
Awesome pictures and video. Reading Noelle's Blog stating you are going to Saipan in the future Dr. Shead is working there now, you should look him up
