We got together with 3 other boats and lined up a van to drive us around all day
We went to the market I talked about before but also
visited the "Christ Blessing" monument
and hiked around the rim of a volcano with smelly sulfur fumes
as well as an old cemetery. The people were put in these stone boxes with stone lids
The carving on top depicts what they did during their life
This one was a midwife, that's a kid popping out
These burial boxes were scattered all over and in the 1800's were brought to this
cemetery. The cemetery entrance depicts someone getting put in their box
