Tobelo

After waiting around a few days for a new impeller to come in we made a last run 

to the market and said goodby to Morotai 

We headed south toward Tobelo where we had to go to immigration for a visa 

extension.  We stopped off just outside of Tobelo at a little island called Kokara 

that had some nice snorkeling and diving.  The anchorage did not look feasible 

using our nautical charts.   The red triangle is us

But thankfully we use satellite photos commonly for navigation

We hadn't been anchored too long when visitors showed up

They hung around and watched while I cleaned the bottom of the boat

and more showed up

the boys finally left and then some girls (and a young boy) arrived

Maybe we need to stop handing out suckers

After a few days of visitors, snorkeling and diving we had to move

on to get some rest!!
