After about a 5 day sail we came to the Ninigo Islands in Papua New Guinea
This is about as far off the beaten path you can get
There are no facilities or stores so the locals want to trade
We were made aware of this so we had some extra flour, sugar and rice aboard
We also went through our cloths and selected some we could part with
Our first day there we were asked if we wanted some crays.
Of course we said yes and these arrived the next day
Rebecca and her little brother just came by for a visit
Had a dive with a really big clam
The locals travel by sail between the islands in the atoll
Some average houses
Every little bit there is an outhouse along the shore. No indoor plumbing
( or swimming close to shore for me)
They do have a clinic on the largest island.
I may have found my next place to practice
Even have nice sunsets!
