Passage to Guam

Before heading off to Guam we had met the captain of the USNS Salvor
We had a very nice lunch in the ward room and tour

The Salvor has a compliment of navy divers aboard working on cutting and
blasting a sunk cargo vessel so that they can get it away from the pier

The captain even took a nice picture of Illimite' with his drone

After an overnight sail we pulled in behind a little island in an atoll
about 1/3 of the way to Guam.   We sheltered from some high winds over the night
We had hoped to walk around ashore but we talked to the Chief of the island
on the VHF radio and he apologized but the government has instructed him to
not allow any visitors ashore because of the corona virus.
We also planned on doing some diving but was too rough
So we just had a very very rocky night and took off the next day

At least we did catch a nice MahiMahi just before pulling in to the island

Noelle took some video of our windy sail

Finally LAND HO, Guam
