Leaving Guam

Illimite' is in the red circle in this picture.  This is where we have spent most of the last
2 months except a couple weeks when we went out to more scenic bays
for some snorkeling and diving

Just before leaving we followed a friend of ours out into the country where there
was an avocado tree.  Used a long pole with a basket on the end we stocked up

We then drove to a farm to get some farm fresh eggs, they last a month without
refrigeration.  Since we were in the neighborhood we stopped at a German
restaurant for some last takeout

After a final shopping trip for veggies we left the harbour we were at and went to
a pretty bay for our final day in Guam.  We got in a quick last snorkel

Noelle got a cool picture of a Leopard Blenny

Just before sunset some friends of ours came and anchored behind us

The next day, today, we worked at getting the boat ship shape for
open ocean passage making.  Which includes stowing the dinghy and
dive air compressor in the tech room

And then mounting the wind vane autopilot
The wind vane can steer without using electricity so it saves on electricity in
the best of times and saves on us when all systems fail
(which of course would never happen on Illimite')

Next stop Kodiak, Alaska.
After a little over 4000 nautical miles and about 35 days at sea
That is 35 days of extreme social distancing !
