6th Anniversary on ILLIMITE'

About a week from my 6th anniversary!
Will be at sea again on the way to Alaska

This last year or so has been shaped by Covid quite a bit, as most peoples lives have been.
We did appreciate diving Chuuk (Truk) Lagoon essentially by ourselves as well
as traveling through Alaska without cruise ships or tour boats.

Can't say I am sad to be leaving Hawaii.  Love Hawaii, but for a cruising boater
once you add up some horrible anchorages, being charged for nothing (and everything),
run down marinas, burdensome bureaucracy and a few other things,
Hawaii is not my favorite place in the world to bring a boat

So back to Alaska we are heading since world traveling is still rather iffy
and it may be the last time to enjoy Alaska without cruise ships

On this map the first 6 years are in red and year 7 plan is in yellow
We hope to have a nice summer in Alaska
Get some repairs done in Seattle
Then back down to Mexico for the winter

Hopefully in February we can head off to French Polynesia
and resume a circumnavigation
Hopefully via Tasmania and South Island, NZ
But only time will tell

Illimite' has traveled over 56,000 nautical miles

It gets a little confusing sometimes what is a country, territory, dependency, etc
but I think I can say that Illimite' has been to at least 33 countries at this time

Many years, miles, countries and memories yet to come
For now we are about to set off from Niihau, HI for Kodiak Island, AK
About 2150 miles and an estimated 18 days!
(and hopefully not too many gales)
