Sailed over to Nawiliwi on Kauai from Oahu.
Our first night we went out for an awesome snapper dinner
Stayed a few days and then sailed over to Hanalei Bay with a friend of Noelle's who
lives in the area. A view of Nawiliwili as we are leaving
Caught a nice Mahi about half way there
Anchored in beautiful Hanalei Bay
Took the dinghy up the Hanalei River
Went a few miles hiking up the Na Pali coast
The next day we sailed down the Na Pali coast
Making a quick stop at Port Allen for final provisioning
and last stop with a cell signal
Then off to Niihau for some diving then off to Alaska

Sailing down the Na Pali coast is just beautiful! It looked like you had a gorgeous day to do it too. I'm always sad to catch a mahi because they are so beautiful - except they are so yummy so my sadness ends at mealtime. :-) And how about those spinner dolphin? Were they having fun, or what? That pacific variety is so pretty. I remember when we were underway in Hawai'i on our honeymoon, just sitting for hours watching the dolphin. They are magical.
