Oahu

Our last anchorage in Maui had a slight shift in the wind and got so rolly we left at 0300 and

went on to Moloka'i.  At least there we had a nice anchorage that was not rolly

Our hopes for a relaxing couple of days in Moloka'i and a good nights sleep
got dashed when we found out a friend of Noelle's, Lindsay had to leave
the next evening and go off island.  So we raised anchor at sunset and had
a rolly overnight passage to Oahu.

We met Lindsay at Makapu'u beach which was quite scenic.

We then hiked down to some tidal pools and blow holes

The next day Noelle and I went to visit a ship
amazingly with Missouri emphasized on its ward room chart!

Sitting at the laundromat in the awesome jeep some friends loaned us
It was loud and looked mean, everyone got out of my way!

Got to do synchronized Covid testing before heading off to Kauai
Thanks to Lindsay driving us through the drive through
The only time picking your nose in public is allowed

While at Ala Wai Boat Harbour made my 8th and last trip up the mast to fix things

  1. picking your nose in public, eh? One good thing about being at sea for three weeks...no covid tests! :-)
