Happy to be returning to Illimite' after Missouri visit
Little did we know we were probably already infected with Covid
The day after we returned we moved over to a marina where
I had the rig inspected for possible replacement
While there I replaced our broken radar with a new one
Then we started heading up to the northern end of the Chesapeake
Noelle is always cooking something up even when sailing fast!

Made a stop at Rock Hall Maryland where the marina had
loaner bikes we got to use.
Then we had an early morning start to go through the Chesapeake-Delaware Canal
We had to motor through the canal but then had a brisk downwind sail
with over 20 knot winds down Delaware Bay to Cape May
Unfortunately our wind instrument quit working in route
As the day went on I felt sicker and sicker.

The following morning I did a home Covid test and it was positive.
We cancelled meeting with Noelle's relatives who were driving in to see us
Started to feel a little better later in the morning so we decided to depart and do an overnight
sail to Sandy Hook, outside of NYC, since some bad weather was forecasted in another day
So I went up the mast before departure and replaced our faulty wind instrument
Being sick is no excuse for not doing needed boat repairs!
Noelle and I are still isolating in Sandy Hook at anchor
I'm about recovered but Noelle is about 1-2 days behind me
in symptoms unfortunately
Its been a week since we last stepped off the boat
(ANGRY FACE) You really shouldn't say you were in Missouri if your gonna 'dis people ...Whatever! ;-)b Hope you are feeling well Soon!
