After successfully steering through a plethora of lobster traps we made it in behind Bar Island!
And these traps are not just one float. They have a second float on a line up to 20 feet
off the primary float just to make things difficult I think
Bar Harbor is a touristy town with access to free Park shuttles
to take us to different trails in the Park
As well as restaurants, grocery and laundry
We did some great hikes in the Acadia National Forest
and made it to the top of Cadillac Mountain
The highest point on the east coast
