Great Wass Island

 Heading back south (mostly west actually) we stopped again at Cross Island and

harvested some Chanterelle mushrooms for dinner.

and after a long hike and a bunch of blueberries. 

Which I enjoyed in a large pancake the next morning

on the way to Great Wass Island

Did a 4 1/2 mile hike on Great Wass Island

There were some cool pitcher plants

as well as forest trails

and along the seashore

had a good view of the lobster pots we are constantly navigating through

and finally got a glimpse of Illimite' again as we rounded the corner

Can't wait to hop in the dinghy and putt home for dinner

Oops

Looks like no hopping in the dinghy just yet

Rather than wait for the tide to come back up I managed to slip it into the water

We had to leave as soon as it was light enough to see lobster pots the next morning

At least it was a beautiful sunrise!
